Glad this chain came to our shores!! The ingredients used tasted very fresh and good compared to your usual mala stores. Must adds: beancurd skin (!!!), luncheon meat, potato slice, pork collar 😋😋 they literally cooked this to perfection. 👍
LOVE THIS! Wanted a last bowl of mala before I left Singapore. Includes: lobster ball with roe, fried rolls, pork collar, quail eggs, tofu puff, enoki and emperor sprouts! You can choose between 4 types of carbs— thin/thick beehoon, ramen and sweet potato vermicelli. I got ramen and it tastes like the typical Chinese yellow noodles. Ingredients were of good quality and decent portion for $7.90! Mala sauce wasn’t that spicy and you have the option of adding spice power after to attain your desired level of spice👍
With over 40 outlets in China within five years of its establishment, diners can customise their hotpot-in-a-bowl with 45 food items, authentic hotpot base and secret spices.

This was tasty especially when eaten with sesame sauce but I found it not spicy enough for my liking (and it shows food is not like what the stall name suggests). I also found this terribly overpriced as this portion cost me ~$12 and it wasn’t filling.
I guess it’s definitely healthier as compared to the usual fried oily version (this is boiled before the sauce is poured over) but I prefer the unhealthy version because what’s mala without the numbness or spice?
A tad expensive as well. This small bowl is $10.70.
Only worth trying if you are around the area and don’t know what to eat.
Really yummy! Picked flower clams, baby cabbage, baby corn, quail eggs, oyster mushrooms, spinach & sweet potato vermicelli drenched in their secret spicy sauce & sesame sauce. The portion u get per ingredient is really small, so what I ordered amounted to just a snack. If u're looking for a full meal, definitely choose more ingredients. Sauce was rather mild, so do add the chilli flakes available if u prefer a more spicy kick.
