Smoked salmon, scrambled eggs, tomatoes and hollandaise on ciabatta toast. Decent portion for the price.
Two Homemade English Muffins with poached eggs with smoked salmon, fresh sauteed spinach with salted egg yolk sauce.
With this you can customise it by choosing your choice of meats, from smoked salmon, streaky beef or chicken ham. You could also opt to change your sauce from salted egg yolk sauce to hollandaise sauce.
Two slices of pancakes, with salted caramel sauce and served with vanilla ice cream. You have the option to switch out the ice cream and salted caramel sauce for butter and honey but I didn't do that.
The pancakes were thick and quite fluffy. If you ask me, it wasn't too sweet. The ice cream would melt quite fast so you better start eating!
Definitely an improvement since my last visit!! Nothing beats an awesome brunch with great food and good company π. In the picture we have Quartetβs grilled chicken with creamy mushroom sauce. The chicken thigh was, in my humble opinion, perfectly done!! Nicely seasoned, crusty skin and super moist juicy meat!! The sauce itself was delicious as it is but when paired with the chicken, they compliment each other perfectly!! The chicken also comed with a side salad and what I think is, homemade ciabatta bread slices. If you're looking for something heavier, try out their steak sandwich or big breakfast, which was recommended by one of the baristas himself.
I am not the biggest fan of cheesecakes, though it's not that I don't eat cheesecakes ever. I do, occasionally, but it is close to never that you'd hear of me craving for them.
One fine afternoon, I ended up in Quar/tet and thought that a plate of cake would be nice. The choices were few, and it was mostly (if not all, my memory is shit) cheesecakes.
The minute I tried it, I was somewhat compelled to polish off the plate. I shared, but yes, I finished it π
I wouldn't come back anytime soon because I just feel a little off with Quar/tet, for reasons I cannot understand, but I would come back for the cakes, why not.
Today, I visited Quar/tet, a neighborhood coffee joint located in TTDI. This cafΓ© is the ideal hangout spot for hipsters around the neighborhood because of their vinyl collection and amazing playlist of songs π. What makes them even more amazing is that they also serve good coffee and tasty food!! Their long black has a nice balance of bitterness and acidity. Though their pavlova may have been a little too sweet for my liking, their other desserts such as the banoffee pie and caramel pecan pie are delicious!! So whether you're a hipster or an average joe, drop by Quar/tet when you guys have the chance! Trust me, you won't regret it π
