It had that authentic taste I demand of khao pad, one of my favourite Thai food.
Not in the league of good pork neck I've eaten, but passable. Not fatty enough.

Like tom yum, except the seafood was quite show-stealing. Squid came in rather graphic cuts and there were ingredients we couldn't identify.
So famous we came again after it's closed the first time. I always thought it's battered, but it's actually fried similar to how our chicken rice's fake roasted chicken is done. With all those crispy fried garlic, it's kinda like 沙皮鸡. Is my disappointment apparent?
I especially love the thigh part as it's so soft and tender. The fried garlic and shallot garnishing blends so well with the chicken
