[CLOSED] Podgy & the Banker

Among all of the cafes that opened within this few years, Podgy actually doing quite well around the neighborhood. The cafe always full house early in the morning, guess most of the people know that they are serving good food and coffee. Their French toast (RM15) with Nutella with banana and strawberries on top is one of my favourite. Not too heavy to start a day, portion might be not enough but for a normal girl I think it should be just fine. Scrambled Eggs (RM15) with salmon on toast, some mushrooms and tomatoes. Simple and nice. Their coffee is legit one. Definitely a good cuppa for you to start the day. A good place for you to get your works done. Wifi is provided and there are plenty of plugs.

Loved this place due to the great relaxing atmosphere, with its airy surroundings and low level buzz of conversations. Perfect place to at least look semi-busy whilst actually taking in the ambience, boosted by the minimalist design and novel wooden seats. Food was reasonable price (around 15RM), and packed full of flavour. I had poached eggs, as were top of the menu and always my brunch of choice. They were so tasty - quite often avocado spread on toast lacks flavour and eggs overpower, but everything seasoned well and the little salsa was intense). Will be spending a lot of time here, working slowly.

Too busy looking around for fancy and special brunch? Sometimes we have forgotten: a simple breakfast with good coffee and happy music. Sunshine through the full glass makes it a perfect day :)

Internet is a fine 2Mbps. But you should give their sandwiches a try! Not very accessible as there are no train stations nearby. Digital nomad rating of 3/5.
