one-north MRT Station (CC23)

Disappointing.

After a first very good experience with empress porridge at galaxis, my second visit today was nothing but disappointing.

The porridge was over seasoned and I have had to suffer the effects of an Msg overload ( ie a burning tongue and extreme thirst) while the Orh nee which was a star dish the last time turned out bad today .

The yam was undercooked , pulpy and dry and tasted savoury ( 😱).

Won’t be going back for a Long while .

This bowl contains 2 peanuts and 2 black sesame tang yuan (though the menu states black sesame) with the sweet ginger soup that has a pungent spicy aroma. ・
The other part of lunch is my favourite Jin Li Satay Bee Hoon❤️ Love the smooth peanut gravy that goes really well with white vermicelli.

Of course, I just had to try it. It taste like the original soya soft serve with additional fragrances from the black beans. A relatively healthier ice cream option that’s located near Fusionopolis Koufu and an escalator above One North MRT which makes it harder to resist as post lunch dessert.
