One Roof does a very good update on the traditional favorite. The rice is cooked with shredded coconut instead of the usual santan, an onsen egg makes a good stir in for the rice. The sambal has good flavour but the spiciness is toned down for local taste. The fried chicken is boneless with a strong hint of turmeric. #burpple #sabahfood #kkfood @one_roof_kk

It’s not a combo I would think of, but One Roof serves several large, fresh prawns in a tomato based sauce to go with the white rice and scrambled eggs and it’s pretty good. Personally I would prefer more sauce and runnier eggs but that’s me. #burpple #kkfood #sabahfood
