Housed in an old-school coffee shop, it has that rustic nostalgic feel the moment you step foot into the shop. Their menu is kept relatively simple with the toasted bread with homemade coconut jam kaya dip and the breakfast for champions that comes with eggs, ham, sausages and bacon. I am not sure if this is an authentic Thai breakfast because the breakfast plates seems more western to me and even after coming here a few times, I still donβt get the hype about it. To me, it is just comfort morning food that I would crave once in awhile but will not for every single holiday trip.

Picture of the toast at On Lok Yun, where I thought it was rather... underwhelming? Very nice meh? Give me better recommendations for Taipei leh!

A must try breakfast spot if you are in bkk. Its quite out of the way but the visit is well worth it. The breakfast style is a mixture of thai chinese & western.
Tastes a lot like our Kaya toast!! Which is why I love it but I still prefer yakun's crunchy toast more hehe
I had a Thai style American breakfast with Bread with Butter and Sugar [23 THB] and Egg Custard Bread (Kaya) [28 THB], accompanied with Cold Milk Tea [25 THB] in a conventional surrounding.

P.S. Uber or Grab can be a great alternative to taxi and it has been my mode of transport during this trip. We didn't have much issue getting around places besides the Bangkok jam.
