Established since 2008, myElephant is a stalwart for Thai cuisine in the city and yes, it's halal! Bring your family for a dinner feast in this restaurant that bustles in the heart of quiet residential area Happy Mansion. The Thai Fish Cakes (RM15.90) are great to begin with, and each portion comes with five pieces of the piquant handmade delicacy for sharing. After the snack, sink your spoons into the spicy Tom Yum (from RM27 for four pax.). This punchy soup is best poured over their trademark jasmine-brown rice combo. Then comes our favourite of the bunch: Green Curry (from RM21). Whether you get it with tofu, beef, seafood, chicken or fish, the saucy dish comes with plenty of flavoursome light-green gravy to ladle over rice. A sensational Salt-Baked Whole Seabass (RM66) will seal the meal with the sweet flavours of fresh fish. This is a meal worth spending on, especially to please the parents. End with Pandan Coolers (RM3.70) for everyone!
*Halal-certified.
Avg price per person: RM35

New item in set #lunch menu. RM17.95++ with a super sweet pandan drink๐ต, one appetizer and slice of watermelon.๐ Cleared bowl as result, satisfied.๐๐ป #shircvenus
ๅฅฝๅบๆฟ็Pad Thai ๐ Not bad, it will be better if the noodle can be a little softer. Taste wise, savory with just right level of sweetness. Good luncheon place with nice company!๐๐ป Btw, serving size is a little big for a girl, but just right for a guy.๐ #myelephantmy #thaifood #restaurant #padthai #shircvenus
It has been a long while since last cold drink.๐ Captivating presentation & color!๐ฑ๐๐ป
First time at this little restaurant, looks nice considering it was amongst some pretty old flats. The rice was pretty good, but I wish it had a bit more of a kick to it. Wasn't very spicy at all, however the chili padi was super fiery! The restaurant had really attractive set lunches starting from RM6.90. I believe this set I ordered was around RM8.90, it came with a glass of pandan water. Honestly didn't like the pandan water cuz it was sweet, I prefer just pandan infused, no sugar. Pretty nice place overall, set lunch is super cheap, but a la cartes might be a bit on the pricey side
Yum yum... Definitely comes with dream tasting of Europe pastry.๐
