First time trying the Red Ruby rendition from My Little Coconut, and am pleasantly surprised at how itโs a wonderful complement to the coconut shake. As usual, MLCโs shake is creamy as they blend it with ice cream, and while I enjoyed the red ruby โ it was not really red ruby as youโd imagine from Thai desserts. This is probably because their red ruby is way smaller and has less of the chewy texture from the dough, but rather more on the crunchier side. While it might not be the red ruby one might expect, I still enjoyed it in my drink and the crunchiness which came with it!

Coconut shake with Milo. Although it was indeed a bit sweet, it was more of the chocolatey-Milo sweetness I asked for with this drink. Textures in this drink were top notch. Realised that the bulk of the ice cream is not blended with the coconut and ice and was just atop of it, but I loved how that turned out especially after I let it melt a little. Creamy and coconutty, not forgetting the tinge of Milo essence!

Refreshing coconut shake that is easily accessible to people living around Bedok 85. Opting for the lowest sugar level, this coconut shake was not too sweet. I personally thought it was a little bit on the icier side, instead of the creamy/milky texture that I could get at... well, Mr Coconut. But then again, it does feel slightly healthier without the heavy texture of milk and/or ice cream. It perhaps could be a good alternative or substitute for people who live nearby and are craving a coconut based drink. They also have quite interesting flavours โ such as Milo Coconut, which I am very interested to try!
