Paul Pairet's famed 'Lemon & Lemon Tart' PP. A candied whole lemon skin, stuffed with lemon curd, sorbet, lemon, orange and grapefruit wedges and vanilla chantilly. served with a sablé stick. I'm a lemon fan and this did not disappoint.
Another popular dish here - Chilean Black Cod simmered in a heat proof bag served with a soy, ginger and scallion based Cantonese sauce & rice. The cod was fresh, fork tender but perhaps it's just the thought of eating something so Chinese tasting in a mod french restaurant that takes a little of it away.
Eating at Mr & Mrs Bund, one of the world's top 50 restaurants in 2013 (no. 43). Lunch started well with this Arugula salad with black truffle, Paris mushrooms and a very delicious soy truffle dressing. I'm sold.
