Miyakori Coffee (Johor Bahru City Square)

Sooooo much value with entertainer JB! 14 ringgit so that’s about $3+. Quiet spot to rest with thick drinks. Slightly on the sweet side (for some people) but it’s perfect for me.

Drawn to the cute mascot, I have been meaning to visit Miyakori Coffee for some time and finally did last week. Decent beverages and unfortunately a lackluster selection of pastries. The Matcha Latte I ordered, had a good dose of green tea aroma. A smooth and creamy concoction, it was milky but not overly so or sweet. However, surprisingly good, their Kurogoma Latte/ Goma Kinako Latte (not featured) definitely fared better with a robust roasted nutty flavour.

Uji Matcha Kakigori, Sakura Creme Frap and a Cotton Cheese Cake.

28rm; lovely ambience to dine in. Food was ok but do try their coffee :)

To be honest I only visited the cafe cuz bae and I were exhausted from queueing at customs. Thought the place would be good as it had been recommended by some blogs. However the cakes made me sad. The chocolate peanut cake was too hard and the cheesecake was ok. Overall the cakes are quite cute lah but I wouldn't come back as it was definitely not worth the price.
