Black garlic soup ramen with spicy coriander grilled pork. Total damage for this ramen alone is RM 41.00. This little porky is fatty and very tender. I can almost cut the pork using only chopsticks and it is a combination of salty, sweet and spicy. Overall taste is very good. Do come early as there will always be a queue.
Ordered the tsukemen which is a ramen dish which is dipped in a separate bowl of broth. The noodles comes in three different sizes from small, medium and large. The portion was huge and it’s filled with pork and seaweed. The broth is rich and a little spicy. One of my favorite ramen dishes from Menya Shi-Shi Do.
When it’s pouring outside and you wish for nothing but to indulge in a piping hot bowl of ramen, head over to Menya Shi-Shi Do for the best ramen fix.
Springy noodles soaked in an unbelievably rich broth, accompanied by huge chunks of pork belly and half-boiled eggs. Every single thing in the bowl (including the spring onions) were all happily devoured!
I ordered my ramen in a black garlic broth. Might seem like a magic potion, but I promise you it was absolutely delicious.
Tsukumen lovers should be satisfied too with the perfect, thick and flavourful dipping broth.
Noodles were served al-dente with a nice bite and chewiness, and ajitama egg🥚was on point.

I ordered the shiro soup as a point of reference to the other soup flavours. The verdict: milky, flavourful, umami-rich pork bone broth 🐷☠️ that is close to perfection. It was so good on its own!
.
Nevertheless, I HAD to top my noodles with the yaki buta (RM29) option - perfectly caramelised BBQ pork belly with melt-in-the-mouth fat and tender meat. Soooo indulgent but soooo good! In fact, I think this trumps its standard pork shoulder chasu slices. 🐖

Intensely lemony broth with enough zest to cut through its slick meatiness. Decently firm noodles topped with slightly tough but still delicious pork slices and a soft-centred egg done right. They’ve expanded and reopened to Jaya One residents’ delight so yay.
