Definitely one of the most hidden cAfe in town. Located at the corner of the Cairnhill CC. Not because of @Burpple, I won't NEVER find this place. They specialized in lunch set price ranged from $10 to $15. .

Long black ($4) - not the sourly kind but ended with a light dark chocolate bitterness which was pretty good with the cake. .

Chocolate brownie ($8) - At first I was a little shocked by its price. I would expected a overdose of sweetness but surprisingly a hint of citrus balanced out the sweetness. Despite of its size, I would recommend to share among two pax because it was very dense.

Brewed from a blend of beans from Brazil and Uganda, the Flat White here actually goes pretty well with the bakes, carrying a roasty flavour yet with quite a clean finish. Helps to wash away the sweetness left behind from the cakes.

Trying out this pretty new cafe hidden in the basement Cairnhill Community Centre named Memento Cafe that is not visible from the main road. They offer a number of bakes and cakes, but also do have a small menu of wraps and sandwiches if you are looking for something to fill the stomach. Sitting outside on the shelf for a while, the salted caramel sauce seemed to have settled down on the cake, and simple slice on the top of the cake instead peels off the layer of salted caramel sauce almost the same way as a fondant. The popcorns also felt like as though they were sitting in the shelf for a little too long, limp and all aired out though the cake itself was decent; vanilla sponge and buttercream that was sweet. Gave my feedback to the staff and chef; hope they would fine tune the recipe for this in time to come.
