Don't know what the hype is about, except that this is near Amsterdam central...overfried fries and kinda funny tasting curry sauce. Threw pretty much all of it away. The one at De Frietsteeg is so much better!
This is the shop even locals swear by it that they serve the best frites in Amsterdam. I met this lady who claims she is a frites-expert and she still finds this the best. Honestly, I lost the ability then to differentiate the fries. But what was interesting is their options of topping, in this case mayonnaise and ketchup.
