Loyang Way Big Prawn Noodles (Albert Centre Market)

This hidden gem is not as good as it was today. But soup still really tasty!

I was surprised to see this here and it was the best decision to try. I'm tempted to name it the best prawn mee I've eaten. It's a holy union of ingredients, execution and effort. The noodles were generous for the smallest bowl, they coated every strand with the exciting seasoning, and the lard was flawless. If you're worried ordering the dry noodles means little prawn soup, look at that bowl. It's also rich without going overboard. The prawns came with shell so you get the heads, but also helpfully sliced in half so you get the flesh easily. Finally, the pork ribs were meaty and soft.
