However, credit where it's due, this is a good execution alr. Very tender fish, vinegar sauce was quite balanced and not too much
If you must try this signature dish(mainly only tourists eat), then this is a place as good as any other
Literally 火腿 cooked in a mild sugar syrup. As expected it doesn't mesh particularly well, but it's not too bad either because both components were kind of mild
The meat itself is abit dry, although that's kind of the standard for these things
This uses huangyu which is delicious and usually a pain in the neck to debone. Thankfully it's well deboned in a soup, which explains the price
Anyway the soup itself is very meh. Just an average starchy peppery soup without much character
Not v sweet at all, but feels like the undertones of herbs were added rather than it being from an authentic version of the dish. The lean meat is stringy
Overall alright
