Its a herbal lamb soup that me and my family always go and eat. Its super delicious but the side effect of eating these soup is that the body gets heaty. Overall, its a must try.

Palembang's famous food is Pempek. It is a savoury fishcake delicacy. Its served with a dark, rich sweet and sour sauce called kuah cuka. There are many varieties of pempek. In the picture is a similar kind of kapal selam, or eggs filled pempek, pempek with spring onions and pempek filled with tofu. The pempek is homemade. Delicious!

Celor means "blanch". Mie Celor means Blanched Noodle. The noodle is blanched in hot boiling water with bean sprout and served with a creamy sauce, shrimps and boiled eggs. Mosy famous in Palembang. They say if you come to Palembang, you have to try it. If not you haven't been to Palembang.

Fried tofu with a mixture sauce of chili, red onion, garlic, shrimp sauce, brown sugar, salt and water.

Frog cooked in fermented beans soup and frog cooked with butter sauce. Lunch with the mother.
