The famous Korean bakery moved on from their popup to a physical store at Suntec City, and they were having a collab with Keong Saik bakery when I visited on National Day. However, I didn't really care much for the collab and went straight to their famous offering - the K-Apple bread ($5.90). Roughly about the size of an orange, the visual aspect of it already stood out and taste-wise it was made even better! The smooth cream cheese paired really nicely with the sweet apple compote and we gobbled this up in no time!
They were also selling bingsu and we could not resist adding on the Redbean Bingsu ($9.90) - zero regrets! The portion was unexpectedly generous with a decadent amount of soybean powder and redbean paste, as well as a whole red bean mochi atop. Amazingly delicious, amazingly value for money. Probably will be my go-to bingsu spot whenever I'm in the area.
Garlic Toast ($1.50) was decent. Had the Hazelnut Lava and Portugese tart for breakfast the next day and they were also alright (after heating up, of course). The hazelnut lava was pretty substantial and the baguette base was surprising and complimented the lava quite well. Portugese tart was meh.
