We have been going to the original PK on Coronation Rd since it was founded over 20 years ago, and we were delighted when this branch opened in 2021.

Not as delish as mom’s outlet, but still good enough. Even at enhanced Orchard Rd pricing, still reasonable.

No wonder this obscure place in a hard-to-find mall has a Michelin bib gourmand. The chicken is juicy and well-marinated, with savoury complexity. The skin is deliciously crispy. The coconut rice is fluffy and mildly fragrant. The sambal is scrumptious. This place deserves better marketing and a higher-traffic location!

We’ve been coming here for 30 years. Excellent fish head curry and chicken liver. The other dishes are not great, but what the heck, you should come here for the fish head and the atmosphere. Friendly and efficient service. The new US Ambassador (who is Indian from India, not Native American) should come as a neighbour to renew with his roots.

The food is decent, but not nearly as good as any of their equivalent at local restaurants or hawker centres - satay, kueh pie tee, laksa, nasi lemak, char kway teo,teh tarik, etc - at triple the price because you have to pay for the nice environment.

Service is friendly but very slow. The advantage of that is you can linger on and chat without any pressure for additional consumption.
