Lovin the many options for sides!

First time trying the fried rice fried by robots. Presentation was so-so but taste was pretty good! I liked the spicy version of this mushroom fried rice ($6). Dan hua ( egg soup) was pleasant too. There was a short queue even on a non peak weekday afternoon & you can bring your kopitiam drinks into their dedicated area.

Not a lot of options on the dinner menu, maybe cos it’s the weekend in cbd. Mostly just burgers & a cold pasta. Thankfully the food was all decent! We also had the portobello burger, patty & portobello were both generous, and who can resist that stick of bacon! The sticky date pudding was also surprisingly enjoyable, the maple and ice cream were really good! Washed down with peach lindemans beer.

They specialise in bao bun, the fried chicken one was really well-seasoned & tasty! The beef short ribs fried rice was tender & tasty! The mee sua was the surprise, so fragrant you could smell it from a distance!

I’m skeptical of food fads, fortunately this was quite yummy. It was a cross between a hum chee peng ( the crispy skin), and goreng pisang ( the banana) , but not as sweet as our local goreng pisang
