Went to have Zhup Zhup Prawn Noodles and it was truly one of the best prawn noodles I've had. The soup tasted like pure prawn essence, it was so rich, savoury, and naturally sweet. I personally enjoyed the Supreme version the most, as the ingredients were very fresh and satisfying. The noodles & soup comes separately so you can fully enjoy the rich soup fresh from the pot. We also ordered the ngoh hiang and fish cake, both of which were well fried with a crispy texture outside. Highly recommended if you like prawn/ seafood.
Had a gathering with friend at Yeast Side and would highly recommend it if you’re looking for good quality pizza. We ordered the Char-Grilled Chicken Pesto pizza and it was delicious with flavourful toppings. The pizza made of sourdough was very chewy with a great texture; together with the mozzarella cheese and pesto sauce, it was juicy on the inside with a nicely baked crust outside. We also tried the Let’s Caulihummus, which consisted of smoky fried cauliflower paired with creamy hummus and well-balanced toppings, making it a nutritious & satisfying dish. They also offer a wide selection of beverages, and everything we tried was good👍🏻
We had the 8-course meal and the food was really good, with very fresh ingredients especially the seafood. Highlights included the Smoky Prawn Toast, which was crispy yet juicy, and the beautifully presented Typhoon Shelter Prawn with its rich prawn essence & burnt leek oil sauce. The open-kitchen concept was enjoyable to watch, I was particularly impressed by how the hor fun was scorched over wood coals to achieve that smoky aroma. Dessert was good as well and I will definitely come back again.
Visited Fi Woodfire Thai & the experience was enjoyable. "Moo Ping" Smoked Pork Ribs was definitely a must-try, the meat was well-marinated until it was so tender & flavourful; it was even more delicious when dipping with specially made thai sauce! We also ordered seafood pad thai, which came with a sunny side up and there were so many fresh ingredients inside. Not forgetting to mention the appetizer - Grilled Prawn Pomelo Salad and I would say this was my favourite of the day. It was sourly refreshing & matched well with heavier tasting food. I love how the fresh prawns served with pomelo, tomato, lime juice etc. Overall was a pleasant experience!
Had my dinner at Meadesmoore yesterday and I'm so satisfied with it. Highly recommended the Sanchoku Wagyu 400g, which was cooked to perfection, with a tender, melt-in-your-mouth texture. I personally love that it has a nice buttery taste which matches so well with their peppercorn sauce.
The Burrata Di Puglise with burnt grapes, balsamic and fennel was pretty appetising! Just go for it if you are not sure what to choose for your starter. We also ordered Tiramisu which has a great combination of coffee with brandied cream, so flavourful yet not too sweet.
Overall it was a very pleasant experience. A must go if you're looking for a great dining place with great food!
Dinner at Jia Li Seafood yesterday and I would say the Crayfish Batang Fish Seafood Soup & Red Grouper Seafood Soup was really tasty and worth a try! The seafood soup was very rich & savoury, there were a lot of fresh ingredients (prawn, fish, pork, tomato etc) added inside and my family love it very much. We also ordered Yong Tau Foo & Ginger Braised Duck, the portion was very generous as well! Do remember to try their chili sauce too as it really paired well with the seafood. Very happy with the dining experience and I will definitely come again.
