Food
The mentaiko gratin was very interesting and satisfied my mentaiko cravings. Would recommend!
I enjoyed the food at Meadesmoore. I ordered the escargot for my appetizer, and got the Flat Iron steak and had the dessert called Popcorn. The food was very creatively presented and had very daring flavours. I enjoyed the steak the most, as it was incredibly tender and juicy. The dessert was beautifully presented with a flan and strawberry ice cream which went well together. The customer service was great and very knowledgeable about all the dishes. Although pricey, I enjoyed my meal immensely.
I ordered the Bro Bruce Quesadilla and the Apple Blueberry Cobbler. The Quesadilla was hearty and cheesy and it was a satisfying combination of flavours with the tender meat. I really enjoyed the sauce given at the side as it nicely complemented the quesadilla. The cobbler was gooey and warm and just the dessert you'd want to end the meal on a nice note.
Overall, the food was rather tasty. I ordered calamari rings, the truffle cream chicken pasta and the chocolicious fondant. The calamari rings were crispy and had a good bite. The truffle flavour was rather strong in the pasta but was well balanced with the creaminess, which went well with the chicken and mushrooms. The chocolicious fondant was a delightful end to the meal, as the lava cake was warm and melty. I liked the blueberry jam that they included as it gave the dessert a more interesting flavour profile. I will come back again if I'm around the area as the food is rather affordable.
