Enjoy their Cocktails for $18++ during Happy Hour (5-8pm)!
Streetside Signature - meant to taste like Chendol, but felt that the Rum overpowered.
Bellvine Mojito
Similar to most other Mojitos, except with a beautiful hue from the Butterfly Pea.
Dancing in the moonshine
Their rendition of bubur chacha - could taste light taro flavours from the icecream, although the dark rum was pretty overpowering.
Their Cocktails are $18++ during Happy Hour (5-8pm), and they offer interesting ones like Pulut Hitam - served like an alcoholic dessert instead of a drink!
Their Kueh Platter took some time to be served, but it's coz they steamed (reheated) them - so some were actually served hot! Overall most were quite fragrant, and although not the best I've had, it was still satisfying enough!
Whole squid filled with a mix of shrimp paste & peranakan herbs, and oven roasted. NGL the shrimp paste was pretty flavourful, but some parts of the squid were overly chewy/ rubbery for my liking.
Most fries were soggy from the sauce, and kinda expected them to have more bold flavours from the rendang sauce.
This Beef Wellington, was made with Pangium nut paste (aka Buah Keluak), giving it an acquired taste that might not be for everyone. Thought the puff pastry could be crispier and more buttery. The steak was cooked to a tender texture, but would prefer it to be more flavourful.
Prob most of our favourite dish that night. The laksa flavours were strong, linguine cooked al-dente, and was well-coated with the creamy sauce. Lobster was pretty fresh too
Surprised by how tender the meat was?! Just slightly gamey but still acceptable as someone who don't really enjoy lamb. The chilli was also pretty good! Although not spicy, it's still flavourful and sweet.
The beef cheeks were pretty tender, and had an interesting rendang style gravy used to slow-braise the meat.
