Laksa Lion Mane Spaghetti and Tom Yummy Cream.
The laksa pasta, much like dry laksa, packed a punch with strong spice notes. Lion Mane was really good texture wise, a good contender for alternative meat.
Tomyum pasta, while it could have stronger tomyum flavours, was still pretty decent. Didn't like the addition of cashews and edamame though.
Had the Housemade Nyonya Otah Slice ($7.90, pictured right), Lion Mane Cheezy Cutlet Rice ($15.90, pictured left), and the Laksa Lion Mane Spaghetti ($14.90, not pictured). Total came up to $24.80 with Burpple 1 for 1. No gst/service charge!
- Skip the Otah, flavour is alright but texture is very flour-y in a bad way
- Laksa spaghetti was great, laksa taste was really strong and had the oomph. Dining companions and I were arguing whether Lions Mane was mock meat or not lols.
- Lion Mane Cheezy Cutlet just tasted like deep fried cheese triangles, nothing special about it. Rice was also an odd pairing especially since fries are also included in the dish.
