Around the World in Singapore
This was a new/limited edition item. I was initially worried about whether truffle would go well with jjajangmyeon but it was pretty nice; the truffle is most noticeable at the start and after a while it blends with the other flavours of the dish.
The small dishes here were pretty good too!
Came here with my fam and we were pleasantly surprised! The cuts of meat here were really thick and everything tasted very good. There are many of different types of salt for the meat as well.
We ordered a beef & pork set (came with a steam egg and doenjang soup), jjajang ramen, plus additional rice. Total was around 150, which entitles us to free flow beer. Quantity was quite a lot - there were 6 of us and we were all stuffed by the end!
The jjajang ramen tastes a bit different from what I’m used to but is nice once you get used to it.
Came here with my friends and had a blast! Everything was really flavourful, especially the crispy beef tripe, matoke (plantain and peanut butter stew) and their coconut rice (the rice is amazing!!)
Just one thing to note: most of the mains are spicy, especially the pork stew! I’m a wuss so I stuck to the matoke, but even friends who could take spicy food found the pork stew to be very spicy.
I would still come back though! The food is delicious, I’ll just have to check how spicy things are before ordering.
