Attended summer school and here were the Mensa aka Canteen food I had over the past weeks. Some day the food were great, some day were like trying its best and most other day, it's okay. Love their Klassik Wasser (Sparkling water), it just spark joy in a different way.
Being a student here sure have its benefits depend on how you look at it. Despite the very limited choices of menu which change everyday, I quite like the student pricing here. The school really subsidise for students studying here. Wonder when were that happen in my local university. Sigh... :(
Oh... I forgot to mention the cool recycle machine for bottles. So when you drink finish your drinks, you can recycle it at 0.15€ - 0.25€ and receive cashback to your student card which you can save and use for laundry at the dormitory.

Finger food on the go before the flight back. Had the mixed box which came with 10 items of your choice and chips of course. So I selected 2 of each, which were salmon, squid, chicken, shrimps and fish. Also, the box include a small cup of garlic mayo sauce. Of course, got other sauce too. I like how they do a double deep fried to reheat the stuff so you eat it piping hot.
Food generally were alright, paired with sauce for extra taste and it so filling. Other than that, their chips were meh... Lacklustre...will get jelak and sian of it.

Homemade ribbon noodles with chanterelles, Italian bacon, truffle oil and parmesan cream.
Standard tasty creamy pasta with a decent amount of bacon and chanterelles mushroom. The mushoom is big, chewy and carry high water content in it cause I bite it, the juice just overflow it in your mouth. Truffle oil was light and the parmesan cream was alright. Noodle were slurpy soft.
Ended of with a refreshing colourful mocktail(5.50€).

A great plate to have if you want to have a taste of everything. Currywurst, meatballs with braised cucumbers, a small schnitzel and lukewarm potato bacon salad.
Wonderful plate of a taste of Berlin best! The big meatball was tender and the wurst was perfectly fried.

Served with lukewarm bacon potato salad and lemon wedges.
Large piece of pork cutlet coated with a thin layer of crispy breaded batter. Chewy, juicy and flavoursome. Yummy! Bacon potato salad was savoury and no jelakness at all.

Served on a bed of sauerkraut, mashed peas and pasrley potato.
Oh boy, this pork knuckle is huge and extremely delicious. Apart being from overly salty, the knuckle was well-braised. Every part, from the fats to the meat, all were induced with flavours. Meat were succulent too. Damn sinful also due to the amount of fats but worth it once in a while to clog your arteries. Sauerkraut was refreshing, mashed peas and pasrley potato were done beautifully too. Tasty!

Such a coincidence to find my friend here 10000+ km away from our homeland. A great catch up on the good old days. Haha. Then, I thick-skinned proceeded to blend myself in with his SIT coursemate and had a splendid dinner.🤣🤣 Felt so homey when you hear all the slang, lingo, dialect and singlish all chapalang in.

Fresh from the rotisserie grill, the smokey tasty chicken was evenly marinated or glazed and grilled to perfection. The meat was tender and flavourful. The oil and fats flows thru every part of it. The skin is smooth and flavoursome. The bones were near to soft and great for sucking cause all the flavourful essence were stuck there. Meat were also easy to debone too. Been a long I had good BBQ chicken. Tastisfying!
Fries were big, chonky and lightly seasoned with salt.

Zwei original East-Berlin sausages with homemade curry sauce served with crispy fries
Fried sausages covered in tangy curry sauce.

Served with pan-fried apples and onions on fresh mashed potatoes and tasty carrot salad
Rather grainy texture as one should expect it to be from the liver. Well, not to my liking. Sides were standard.

Drenched in tasty gravy with homemade sauerkraut and sauté potato
Pork was tense but also kinda dry. Glad that the sauce helps. Pickled cabbage was fine and slightlt sourish so it can open the tastebud even more. Potatoes been cooked in the most healthiest way that I can't even finished it. Too natural and soft.
