this dish was pure comfort. with each grain of rice evenly coated, every mouthful was filled with fragrant, eggy goodness. what’s more, prices start from only $4.50 for a basic egg fried rice.
honestly, the best chicken wings i’ve had. their rendition of chicken wings ticked all the boxes for 👦🏻 and i. it was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with the just right juiciness. definitely a staple i would reorder, again & again. if their classic is already this good, i can’t imagine how much better would the prawn paste version be.
tasty, well marinated & came in a generous portion. a good alternative for those who prefer a fuss-free rice bowl option. tho the fried rice is still my preferred choice!
thick, juicy and well-seasoned, what more can i ask for? 🥹 i loved that aside from the on point flavours, it wasn’t over fried and did not have any oily aftertaste. (tbh i prefer their version to the bigger brands that we all know)
one of the better dry noodles i’ve had. just the noodles alone, it was well-cooked, coated with their sauce combi and a scoop of chilli with a good kick. the pork cutlet - breaded and fried to crisp, was tender, had no nasty oily taste and was a great pairing with the noodles. a simple dish made well.
👦🏻 who’s quite particular with his dry noodles ranked this 2nd in his list sooo… you get it.
first off, can i say i love how nostalgic the plate looks? 😍 back to the food - this is nothing less than a hearty meal. savour the springy, al dente noodles coated with the sweet, savoury & spicy (oh, the spice really has a good kick) dark sauce mixture all in a single mouth. the noodles alone hits the spot. making it even better, have it with their handmade well marinated pork balls (no gamey taste, it’s a yes for me!), the braised mushrooms or simply the crunchy ikan bilis (not fishy! 👏🏻). adding on to the goodness, the dry version comes with a small bowl of soup that’s great for ending the meal off with some comforting warmth.
interesting fact: you can add on other fancier/atas toppings like big prawns, fish maw, clams, salmon or even abalone!
soft, chewy and fragrant with loads of mushrooms - what more can i ask for 🤤 this traditional dish is made with discs of yam dough, served with black fungus, shredded carrots and even minced meat! if you love spicy food, ADD THEIR CHILLI it’s da bomb 🔥
