Jam's Oolong Tea Au Lait (Large)
Cane Roasted Black Tea Au Lait with pearls (add $1.20, Large)
Both add up to $6.60.
Chanced upon this neighbourhood heartland gelato place. We ordered the mango tango, lavender earl grey and green apple yakult ones. $13 in all, can be redeemed using CDC vouchers too. We loved the flavours we ordered. Generous scoops in a cup and not overly sweet!
Green Tea cupcake ($6), cafe latte ($8), truffle fries ($16) (not in picture)
The truffle fries are amazing! Not overly truffle- drizzled, yet retaining much of the crispness. I enjoyed every bite! The ambience is welcoming and makes an enjoyable tea time with a girl friend. 👍😊
This morning, we had breakfast at Slow Bakes. Glad they opened up the adjacent space beside for more sit-down room. Usually crowded on a weekend, I am glad to enjoy my breakfast at a more leisurely pace today.
This is a set with 4 toasts, 2 eggs and 2 drinks, added one more sourdough baguette toast.
Delightful. The surrounding greens definitely brought much to calmness to sooth my mind.
I simply like the ambience in this cafe. Very old school, homely feel. Even as i am writing this, I am seated on a traditional sewing machine converted into a vintage furniture.
The matcha latte was also wonderfully executed. The barista also took effort to design two different tea art for us. ($8.50 each, redeemed BB 1 for 1) Wonderful gesture.
The lemon cream tart ($7.50) was sooo good. The sour tinge of sourness, combined with the tart crust provides a wonderful combination. We really like this.
Will be back soon.
Relaxing afternoon having a cup of coffee and chilling in town.
Used up 2 BB deals to redeem a 1 for 1 Espresso and 1 for 1 Frappe. Fuss free to use the deals. Place is not filled up though there is traffic from the office crowd for takeaways.
Such a fruity, tangy, yet sweet bowl with a great assortment of fruits. My daughter and myself enjoyed the variety of fruits. As my girl doesn't like bananas, the staff was nice to switch out the bananas in place of passionfruit. We had honey topping at no extra charge. 2 bowls at $11.90 with BB redemption. Absolutely delightful.
Take note that this is a takeaway stall.
All three mains we ordered were well-executed and did not compromise on taste. Not only was the deco vintagey cute, we enjoyed our meal as well. 3 Mains with a cup of coffee each set us back by slightly less than $30 per pax. I would say its decently priced. Staff was attentive and obliged to take pictures for us. Will return!
Was there on a Sunday morning and loved the relaxed, airy vibes there. Being non- air conditioned, the previous midnight rain must have brought respite to the cafe and it was breezy and cooling. We ordered the breads, topped with half-boiled eggs (not in picture). The matcha mochi red bean bun was good, chewiness in each bite; the rest of the breads were great, especially after heated up.
We ordered more toast after this, to try out, especially since we saw many people eating the avocado toast. The toast was crispy and the avocado was wholesome. I do feel that the taste could have been enhanced with a squeeze of lemon or a dash of pepper. Perhaps minimalistic in food preparation is how they sell this?
Good for a chillax morning.
Haven't been to Ya Kun for a long time and realised their prices had increased steeply. A medium-sized Kopi O costs $1.80. Still fragrant.
Had been wanting to try out this place for a while due to its proximity to my workplace. However, I went with a stuffed tummy during tea time, so couldn't eat much. The carrot cake and the almond croissant are 2 items nothing to shout out about. Perhaps a little dry. The beverage was also ordinary. Wrong choice of food items, I suppose. Would consider coming back for other mains on the brunch menu.
