Ordered seafood soup, ginger braised duck and yong tau foo. The seafood soup is a must-order dish for seafood lovers. Shopowner was really generous with seafood ingredients (crayfish, big juicy prawns and batang fish). Soup was really tasty and Unami.
Ginger braised duck was well marinated with a tint of black vinegar and fresh ginger.
Tried the bone marrow which had a nice aroma. Taste-wise, it was crunchy, chewy, flavourful. Also, ordered the steak which had a great ratio of fats and was perfectly paired with salsa verde. Beef heart tomato had a well balanced flavour of sweetness from fresh tomatoes and sourness from sherry vinegar. Very refreshing taste.
We ordered the Foie Grass Miso Linguine.
Creamy light miso linguine was rich in taste.
Foie grass was perfectly cooked, not oily, tasted good. We also ordered the Risotto which tasted great especially with the sides being crispy. Giant sausage was juicy and filing. Will come back again for the great food and amazing ambience.
Uncommon to see prawn noodles being served in a claypot. The broth was well cooked and very tasty. Prawns were really big and fresh. Pleasant experience.
I ordered their “walk in the park” (pork ribs) under the Spicy YOLO Challenge. The BBQ pork ribs were the best ribs that I have ever tried at this price range. It was reasonably priced at $25.50, and the portion was good with the selection of two sides. The ribs were perfectly cooked and incredibly soft, to the extent that it fell off from the bone smoothly without much knifework. For spicy lovers, you will fall in love with the robust spicy gravy. Food aside, the service crew is very friendly and attentive to our needs. An excellent place for ribs! Will definitely come back again to try the other ribs. P.S. Please note that you need to sign an indemnity form before attempting any ribs under the Spicy YOLO Challenge and trust me, it is worth it!
