Food
Really enjoyed my meal!
Pizza dough was very chewy and my favourite kind 😍 Not too dough-y and not overly crispy.
Wings were very meaty too, husband said it was one of the best wings he ever had 🤤
Lastly, the earl grey lychee cold brew tea was a refreshing touch to the meal.
Staffs were friendly and service was great too 💯
Broth was very rich, one of the richest prawn soup i’ve ever had. Though it’s a little pricier than usual prawn noodles, they definitely did not skim on the ingredients used which makes it very worth it!
They also have a wide variety of ngoh hiang / fried food to order on the side which goes very well with the prawn noodles.
Only unfortunate point is the lack of parking spaces nearby and it’s a 10mins walk from the mrt.
Starters: Fried Baby Squid
Mains: Steak frites, fish and chips,
Dessert: Brownie with Ice cream
Star of the show was the brownie! It was so fudge-y and well complemented with toppings that provided a right balance of texture.
Enjoyed the meal!
Ordered crabmeat pasta, mala fish, sweet & sour pork and YTF. Really love the sweet & sour pork as it is packed with meat and not flour. their signature YTF cannot go wrong too, very yummy and will come back again!
really enjoyed Joo Chiat Kim Choo’s dumpling! tried 5 flavours, all of which were packed with filling hence very value for money! there is also a good ratio of fat to lean meat, making it juicy and not dry.
flavours tried:
hokkien rice dumpling with salted egg yolk
nonya rice dumpling
pulut hitam nonya rice dumpling
hakka pork belly w preserved vegetables
emporor’s rice dumpling
Nice cosy vibes, food was good - ordered the pulled pork burger and beef cheeks ragu, and both meat were tender and tasty. pasta was al dente as well.
Starters: Starter Lab’s Sourdough and Bone Marrow
Main: Zabuton and Chef’s special Wagyu
Sides: Maitake Mushroom and Mac & Cheese
Dessert: Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate
Ambience was amazing, staffs were very polite and constantly looking out for your needs. From the starters to the dessert, food was amazing but stand outs has got to be Zabuton Wagyu, Mac & Cheese and Chocolate x3. Wagyu had amazing fat to meat ratio, Truffle on the Mac & Cheese was prominent, Pasta was al dente🤤
Would recommend for a great dining experience!
Ordered crabmeat & roe riceballs, spicy pork and tteokgalbi!
The riceballs had good flavour and were fun to make for the experience! Tteokgalbi was really nice too with the slightly burnt crust adding a good crunch to the juicy meat 🤤
Ordered Garlicky Chicken and Khan Pung King and love both dishes! Garlicky Chicken was super crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The garlic sauce was yummy and not too sweet as well.
The sauce on Khan Pung King has a very nice kick but only for those who can handle spice! Love the sweet potato and rice cakes in the dish as well.
Ordered the beef, potato mushroom and paneer dumplings and eventhough it was takeaway, texture of the dumplings was not soggy and remains firm / chewy! The dumplings skin was not thick as well, leaving it fully packed with fillings!
Worth it and would recommend (:
Food was tasty and came quickly! Love the beef bowl - beef was tender and had a good fat-meat ratio. Atmosphere was great too - conducive for catch ups!
Ordered the Tortilla Set and Bourbon Pork Ribs! Really enjoyed the flavour and tenderness of the meat, ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender😍
Staffs were really friendly and welcoming too!
