quite nice and moist and fragrant but not as good as the hype makes it out to be. at this price though i guess we can’t complain. but really there was barely any choc chips/sprinkles at all😞

famous soon kueh place not bad not too oily and very fragrant shallots

super good chunky pieces of radish cake well incorporated and coated with fried egg. very fragrant and chunky

super indulgent fatty slices of roasted char siew with a deep smokey flavour. known for its perfect ratio of fats to lean meat. noodles were springy and pretty good.

very generous ingredients and fresh big prawns but rather pricey

idk what the hype is about because this was pretty average. to think i travelled just to try this😞 but maybe their signature noodles are better? they were sold out by the time we went. wanted that instead

from ‘mouth watering fresh prawn noodles’ stall !
a lot of stalls were closed and we felt like prawn noodles so we settled for the only one that was open! our dish was served up by a young hawker, presumably the daughter of the uncle we saw later on? i felt the prawn broth wasn’t packed w prawn flavour and was rather unassuming. the prawns were kinda juicy!! & i liked the well fried and flavourful lard. the noodles were just like any other noodles i think these yellow noodles are quite universal tasting so nothing much to say. shoutout to the uncle for being super attentive and kind and friendly tho he brought us extra utensils when he saw we didn’t have enough!! love good service and kind people 🥺 but food wise i think 6.5/10

new turkish stall in the hawker centre! this was rather pricey i think around $8? worth a try but i wouldn’t return just because of the steep price! taste wise it’s good though! loved the soft chewy pita bread and the chicken kebab was very well marinated and decently generous. the star of the show was the tzatziki sauce which went so well with the chicken kebab! and i hate usually hate sauce !!

egg fried rice > tom yum fried rice. tom yum taste overpowers the wok hey and egg taste in the fried rice which is sad. tom yum wasn’t bad tho but i like my wok hey and egg flavours so id rather have that thank u

salted egg tasted a bit funky to me but not exactly in a bad way just in a non conventional salted egg sauce way. chicken was pretty juicy and tender. overall not bad
