the weekday lunch set comes w a bowl of noodles, dumplings and a drink. super worth it! plus free flow refillable bean sprouts
tomato broth was super tangy and refreshing! noodles were springy and eggy. meat had less lean meat than i would like but still not bad and tender
i love the noodles here. super al dente and the right thickness and flavour. soup broth is also very good and tasty without being too heavy. beef slices nice thin and lean
doesn’t exactly pair well but p good separately and they gave SO much mentaiko we could not see the salmon. udon broth was good, sweet & umami.
can’t rmb the exact price but around there. very huge prawns !! but overcooked. texture was off because it was too tough and chewy. sad because can tell they were probably fresh. and pretty huge too. prawn balls though, we’re pretty fire with explosions of ebiko bursting into your mouth. shrimp dumplings also had a whole chunk of prawn in there. good stuff. prawn broth SUPER flavourful but to the extent of being jelak. good thing i never finish my soup anyways.
no frills noodle place at a humble shop tucked away in fortune centre! noodles, yes! dumplings, eh. skin was way too thick but where there was filling, the pork filling was p good. noodles had the best springy chewy texture, and the broth was a tad bit salty but tasted reminiscent of udon broth; salty version. at $4 i won’t complain because it was a HUGE portion of noodles w 5 dumplings and the place was small but clean and simple.
no meat no problem with this very flavourful dan dan mian served with crushed peanuts and a halfway house between sauce and soup broth. in all honesty not what i expected when they said dan dan mian. tastes more like a mix of satay bee hoon and curry base but that’s in no way bad. a very satisfying bowl of noodles with immaculate springy noodle texture and a good spicy kick
