I Scream, You Scream, We all Scream for ICE CREAM! 🍦
Had the signature crispy waffle with rum rum raisin and chocolate sauce. Waffle was light and crunchy, ice cream smooth with a gentle rum flavour though I wished it packed more punch. The chocolate sauce added a nice touch. Overall it felt more easy-going than rich 》$6 Waffle + $5 Single Scoop + $1 Premium Flavour
Loved this scoop! The pear gave a musky, fruity sweetness, while the cinnamon, cloves and star anise added a warm, woody depth that made it feel both refreshing and comforting. The flavour was layered but still light. Had it in their thyme cone, which added a savoury crunch and a fresh herbal lift 》$6.80
The pistachio gelato is creamy, nutty and not too sweet. The free tasting station was generous with the Kiwi flavour being a light and refreshing surprise. Best part? After 9pm they roll out a buy‑1‑free‑1 promo to clear the day’s stock, which makes indulging feel like a steal 》U.P. $9.80
Chewy on the outside, creamy on the inside. This organic Uji matcha mochi ice cream is a fun little treat. The ice cream is earthy and smooth, wrapped in a soft mochi shell that gives a nice stretch. It’s refreshing without being heavy and the clean matcha flavour makes it feel like a simple post meal indulgence 》$9.60
The chocolate hazelnut was rich and satisfying, while the pistachio leaned milder, not too strong on the nutty notes. Loved how the waffles were served separately, staying crisp and airy instead of turning soggy under melting ice cream. Simple, thoughtful presentation and a sweet treat 》$13 + $2 Premium Flavours
The buttermilk waffle came warm and fluffy, crisp at the edges and made the perfect base for a double scoop of gelato. Brownie was rich and chocolatey, almost fudgy, while passion fruit cut through with a bright, tangy zing. Together, it’s that classic warm-cold combo with a sweet-sour twist 》$13.50
The Better Scoop offers a creative twist with their nian gao waffles. For an additional $0.80, I opted for the nian gao waffle paired with a single scoop of osmanthus oolong, finished with maple syrup and chocolate sauce. Each waffle comes with four squares of chewy, lightly sweet nian gao that contrast beautifully with the crisp waffle base. While there’s no option to sample flavours beforehand, I was pleased that the osmanthus oolong was not overly sweet, striking a nice balance with the distinct floral notes of osmanthus.

The churros mochi waffle was everything I remembered. Warm and crisp, with chewy mochi slabs tucked inside — loved that texture contrast. Cinnamon sugar gave it a churro-like vibe without going overboard on sweetness.
Paired it with soya bean milk with dough fritters gelato which tasted like tau huay. The brownies n cream was rich, chocolatey and packed with cookie bits. Both held up well against the warm waffle.
Tried this back when it was at ORTO and now it’s even better with the second outlet closer to home.

The croissant had that lovely balance of crisp edges and soft, airy layers inside. It’s light enough to hold the ice cream without feeling heavy. Paired with earl grey lavender scoop that brought a gentle floral aroma with that tea‑like depth. The Sicilian pistachio contrasted beautifully, rich and nutty with a smooth finish.
Sunflower seeds added a playful crunch, powdered sugar gave a gentle finish and the cosy cafe ambience made it perfect for lingering over chats after a meal.

Tried the tofu gelato and I’m kinda hooked. Super smooth, really creamy and not sweet at all. There’s a subtle hint of salt that gives it a nice balance so it doesn’t feel flat. It’s the kind of dessert that even non-dessert people would enjoy.
It’s freshly made so the texture’s spot on and the flavours feel clean and light. Price-wise, it’s a little on the higher side but worth it for the quality and experience.
Loved that they offer free samples at the tasting station. Ended up trying the other flavours such as high-protein tofu, black sesame, sweet corn, sweet potato and pistachio.
If you’re into fresh, not-too-sweet treats with a creamy finish, this one’s worth the splurge 》$8
Silky-smooth and luxuriously rich, it carries that signature hint of saltiness which balances beautifully with its gentle sweetness. A dusting of premium matcha powder that adds a fragrant, earthy kick to every spoonful.
The lychee raspberry scoop is sweet, floral and refreshing, with delicate rose notes from lychee and bright pops of raspberry all wrapped in a crisp thyme cone 》$6.80

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
