Lunch/Dinner Dates
This store sells a range of soup but we chose ma la tang and added vinegar which was super goooood (this is our fav mala tang store :D)!!! They have a variety of ingredients such as clams, fish roe, kelp, chicken seaweed, etc. The ingredients for us (2 pax) amounted to ~$20.
It was $29 for 1 wolf burger with set and 1 alpha (double patty) burger, but after the burpple deal we only paid $21. The burger was okay (although hank liked it a lot but I prefer shakeshack’s). Ordered truffle fries but it tastes like normal fries :(
We ordered beef & Sichuan pickles noodle with hot & spicy soup (13.90) and soup with braised beef noodle (12.50). The soups for both noodles were really tasty and the beefs were extremely good as well. We would come to eat this again!! :D
The poké bowls taster really healthy. Each bowl had a generous serving of salmon sashimi. The fish tasted fresh, and the sauces (left: classic, right: spicy) covered any fishy taste. Even non-sashimi lovers will love this. The pickled watermelons and carrot strips is an acquired taste, and may not be for everyone. Our drinks(homemade yuzu) were quite diluted, would not recommend. The people tending the store were also q friendly (esp the uncle tending the cashier :D).
(continuation with the mains) Their matcha tasted pretty much like matcha. The barley yuzu was really special — the barley bits tasted like yuzu.
The chilli prawn pasta (bottom), topped with their oven-baked prawns, was very spicy but delicious. The mentaiko pasta (top) does not have a strong taste of mentaiko but it taste rather unique. Also, the view is amazing (we managed to catch the sunset :D).
