Pleasantly surprised that the dumplings we know so well in Asian cuisines have Russian counterparts, deliciously chewy pelmeni~

This place has single-handedly converted me to steak :')

Deliciously charred, chewy and umami-packed stingray wing bites - surprisingly good! Another standout was the char siew pork jowl, which was tenderly smoked; pity about the small portion size though. To ease your Japan wanderlust, this stylish and atmospheric bar makes for an unique date/hangout spot.

Honest, homely Italian fare with big portions and a tantalisingly written menu. We shared the Pescatora with Squid Ink Chitarra, La Barca Funghi e Tartufo, Arancini Siciliani (not pictured) and tiramisu (also not pictured). As a big fan of squid ink pasta, I thoroughly enjoyed the umami taste of the sea that many other local renditions lack. My boyfriend enjoyed the la barca (boat-shaped pizza) more with its creaminess that I found slightly heavy, but we agreed that the bread was a welcome fluffy and doughy accompaniment. The crispy arancini, a rare dish locally, was rich in tomato and herb flavour - I'm glad I was able to introduce this to my boyfriend. Finally, as a coffee lover, the tiramisu was a decadent, fluffy and aromatic end to my meal. I'm excited to try more on the menu, but would be happy to re-order as well if the seafood in the pasta and the tiramisu serving could be more generous for the price!

The Truffle Camembert (appetiser; $30 for 3-course set) turned out to be my favourite dish, with the subtle creamy flavour of the sizeable hunk of cheese accompanied by flavourful truffle cream. We got two sets altogether, also opting for the Soup of the Day (pictured), Chicken Ballotine, Spicy Beef Linguine, Oolong Ice-Cream, and Dessert of the Day. Overall, the flavours were richly Asian/Southeast Asian and portions were generous, but I'd have preferred a more fusion taste as expected.

Signature Bourbon Pork Ribs were juicy, tender and flavourful; really enjoyed the Chili Cheese fries (added side) and Apple Blueberry Cobbler too. Will be back (:

had some tasty rich mains (thicc burger, foie gras masago pasta) but foie gras was kinda tasteless and jelak. would totally return for these fluffy, savoury-sweet pancakes (pancake tower; in photo) though - especially if more cookie crumble is added next time!
