Technically not wrong, elevated name for hashbrowns… expected some German rosti - as claimed in the lunch menu.

Tried the $78 beyond menu. UP $106. About 20-30% discount. Will return. Tender pork jowl, duck confit. Abit too much meat. Would have ordered one fish one meat instead. Ice cream in the dessert portion is good. Salmon tartare best dish in the Burpple menu. Will return.

Friendly staff, allowed us to use Burpple during non peak weekends cos place is small. Food is ok good but meat quite tough.

Ambience v cold, but they can’t turn down the aircon cos it’s an open concept kitchen.
Duck pasta normal, I can do better.
Do NOT order the banana Mille Feuille - soggy and normal vanilla ice cream. Not even assembled.
Pork chop is good and not too dry.

Will return. Value for money. 50% off, but they give a lot of ingredients and not 50% less like some other restaurants.
Service slow but for the price it’s self service.
Fresh ingredients for the price. It’s almost cost price for the sashimi that they serve.
Oh if you order 1 for 1 u can only choose either don or noodles, can’t mix and match.

Unami pasta too spicy for us (cos we can’t eat spicy). Cod fish not bad. Wagyu burger and Seabass not salted enough. Free truffle fries from manager! Staff here are very friendly!

Choose the grilled octopus
Pumpkin risotto had no pumpkin taste, but the veal was nice with the red wine jus
Witch Italian coffee was nice too.

Cod watered down/not salted enough but v tender/flaky.
Octopus not bad, could be saltier, nice texture.
Lamb confit is just a lamb pie.
Iberian pork is nice as what others suggested
