Priced at $8 and under the burpple one for one deal , this meal provided decent value. The chicken floss and pineapple gave a good mix of sweetness that paired well with the savoriness of the seafood. Will order this again. Do note that the stall charges $0.50 for takeaway.

Priced at $8 and under the burpple one for one deal , this meal gave decent value with the higher than average quality of seafood. However, I would choose another dish altogether as this dish was too spicy for one who has no issues eating spicy food. Do note that the stall charges $0.50 for takeaway.
I have been here a number of times and reviewed their mutton briyani a couple of times. Glad to say that the standard is consistent; the mutton isn't gamey, the briyani presents a flavourful and hearty meal that's available on burpple one for one. Place is conveniently located a stone throw from hougang mrt station.
I would recommend pairing the briyani with the paneer in butter masala. Those cubes of cheese are drenched in the creamy butter masala sauce, this dish is good enough to eat on its own. Rating 7.9/10.
Calamari rings wrapped with deep fried batter and coated with salted egg sauce which was finely balanced and not too overpowering. The rings were not the most tender I had but it's tender enough without being chewy. I loved the Asian touch to this dish - the addition of some chilli padi (below) for a hint of spice and the inclusion of what seemed like curry leaves (?).

Decent meal of grouper penyet - a decent portion of rice with tauhu, really spicy chilli and of course, one whole fried grouper. While there is more meat with the pomfret, the flesh of the grouper was much smoother and had a better mouth feel. Totally worth it with burpple one for one $11.50 for 2 pax with the burpple deal. A good option for those who stay near AMK hub.

Charcoal grilled prawns at the same spot in orto after a prawning session. The meat was really fresh and succulent, although it was not easy to catch these prawns. Not going to rate this as this trip was more for the experience, as opposed to the grilled prawns.
Comforting dish with decent chucks of chicken meat. Great to be paired with white rice or even their pineapple rice. Served over a clay stove Rating 7.1/10
Have been ordering regularly from the Thai couple that runs this stall in bishan. Pretty flavourful and decently priced at $5.30. it's pretty near the train station and junction 8 too. Worth a try. Rating 6.5/10
The rice was fluffy and sufficiently lemak, that's paired with batter bits to give it a crunchy mouth feel. The chicken cutlet is crispy with a light enough batter, and the meat was still tender. Would have preferred for the dish to add some cucumbers, but the addition of onsen egg was a good choice. The chilli is slightly on the sweeter side. Very affordable with burpple one for one; approx $8 plus for two people. Rating 7/10
The place is tucked in an old quiet mall called bugis cube (not to be confused with bugis plus which is just diagonally across the street).
Tasty and savoury yellow tumeric rice, paired with shrimp and squid, while being finely balanced with the sweetness of prok floss and the pineapple bits. It's about a 10 min walk or so from Tai Seng or MacPherson mrt. Would visit again if I am in the vicinity. Rating 7.1/10
Tucked in a place that has not much human traffic, this was a good find as we simply happened to be in the vicinity. The rice grains were separate and coated with oil, and topped with a fairly large omelette and real crab meat. All the more worth it with burpple one for one meal. Rating 7/10
