Every year, we make it a tradition to gather at this Mookata place. They've revamped their setup and business model, now offering a smaller yet more convenient experience. The best part? You can now help yourself to the food, drinks, sauces, cooked items, and ice cream. Plus, they've upgraded their ventilation and added a direct smoke extractor.

Drinks are included in the buffet, except for canned ones. But who needs those when you can make your own milk tea or grab a refreshing fountain drink? They've introduced rice with braised meat that tastes remarkably like Taiwan's braised pork rice—a pleasant surprise that capped off a fantastic meal.

Our go-to orders are their homemade marinated pork and chicken—succulent, packed with flavour, and truly delightful. However, we'd recommend skipping the Mala option.

For a tastisfying 120-minute dining experience, this place delivers. Oh, and there is a rule that required a minimum of 2 people for dining.

Mushy rice paired with salty soy flavoured ground pork. Can't even taste much of that holy basil and bird chilli which are supposed to be the key ingredients to this dish. Minced pork don't have that bouncey texture either but still edible.
Comes with a sunny-side up.
Portion wise is just nice for one person.

Seriously, for what you get, it's a legit deal. The sauce station's got all sorts of sauce you want, and they even provide rice. And the spread, man, it's jin tok kong. Found another fantastic Mookata buffet spot that offers an array of meat, seafood, vegetables, and snacks at an affordable price. Only $25.80 for a 2-hour dining session with free-flow access to all items on the menu - now that's a great deal! I was pleasantly surprised by the list of food they offer, like the beef, seafood, and the cheese sauce they serve. The meat portions were generous and had mild to moderate marination, while the chili sauce they provided added a nice kick to elevate the flavours.

The Ban Mian was indeed a delightful treat, especially after soaking up all the essence from the Mookata grill. During a promotional period (I think still on-going), I got to enjoy it for just $17.90 during weekdays, making it extra worth it.
