Cakes And Desserts

A bit expensive but very good muffins from this stall at Old Airport Road Hawker Centre. Good selection of different muffins. Strong buttery taste, loaded with walnuts and chocolate. Yummy!
Managed to snag their last three egg tarts and two marshmallow muffins before closing. The brush is so crumbly and the custard is so creamy! The muffins were good too. Yummy!
Eager to try their other offerings. Please support the next gen food entrepreneurs!
This is the only place I know of that bakes Kouign Amann. They have two types- the traditional Brittany type and their own Brera Kouign Amann (BKA). I bought the former and at $4.80 a pop, not cheap. The pleasant smell of French Butter came through with every bite of crusty dough which is probably why it is so expensive. But it goes so well with espresso coffee.
Will come back soon to try their various types of cruffins. Can’t wait.
Expensive but very tasty. Not sweet and the sweet potato filling is so unique.
I’ll be back, especially since this cafe is so near my home.
Surprisingly there was no queue today when I arrived at 12.15pm on weekday. But they were out of chocolate tarts so I had to settle for just their famous banana pies which are always very nicely done.
Uncle looks like in his late 80s and with Katong Shopping Center up for en bloc, go and enjoy his pies and tarts while they are still available.
