Fine Dining
Generous serving of fresh fish that was topped with almonds and served with cherry tomatoes and summer beans. You could tell the freshness of the fish by the flakiness of the flesh when cutting through it with a knife and fork. The almonds added a crunchy texture and mouthfeel and acted as a welcome contrast to the entire dish.

Final course and dessert to the burpple set meal during CNY 2022. Not the most aesthetically impressive compared to previous desserts that I had here during previous meals, but it was good and refreshing. Rating 7/10.
Service by the staff was impeccable and attentive and deserve 10/10. Great ambience although the restaurant was a little more crowded that I prefer. Will be back 👍
One of the courses to the burpple set meal during CNY 2022. Not sure what's with the descriptions of "36 Head" or "Eight treasures" aspects of the dish, but to a plebian like me with unrefined taste buds, this tasted very much like an abalone that's placed on top of a mound fragrant glutinous rice that's been beautifully plated. The anchovies / ebi bits added a slight crunch and mouth texture to the dish as well, which was arguably the most memorable aspect of this dish. Rating : 7.4/10.
Appetiser to the burpple set during CNY 2022. Not a fan of yam, but this surprisingly paired well with the sweet and succulent scallop. Rating 7.3/10
One of the courses within the burpple set during CNY 2022. The meat was juicy and flavourful - arguably was one of the best courses in the entire set, even though other courses had more premium ingredients. Rating 8.3/10
One of the courses served during the burpple set course meal during CNY 2022. The lobster was succulent with a hint of smokiness from the pepper. Rating 7.7/10
Part 1 of the Imperial set menu under burpple one for one offer.
Talk about theatrics - this appetiser was served on top of a bowl of dry ice as an eye catching introduction to the seven course meal of the Imperial set menu.
On one end, it was a piece of fried lobster served with some citrus sauce. This was contrasted with a piece of chilled lobster paired with caviar and avocado. Wasn't sure what was the reason for the addition of the avocado, but the contrast in which the lobster was prepared in a single dish was an interesting experience to one's palate. Personal preference was the chilled lobster as it complemented the richness of the caviar.
Great eye-catching start to the meal!
Tried the degustation menu on offer in burpple. The portions served were what one expects of fine dining establishments. You won't leave feeling hungry, but you won't be very full either.
The star of the five course meal was their spring lamb chop. The meal worked out to be around $120 per couple or $60 per pax. The rest of the courses were pretty good (save for the chowder which was alright). The service staff were very attentive as well.
Would recommend to give this place a try for the experience and the ambience.
