Date Night Worthy 🥂
Came down specially for the weekend shack menu. Fancy schmancy fish & chips with mushy peas ($38++). Pricey but pretty worth it for the quality you are getting. Every element was on point. The flavour of the dish actually stood out more with the malt vinegar spray. Definitely recommend giving it a try!
Had to order the highly raved Sesame Prawn & Scallop Toast ($38++). Really nice presentation, ingredients were fresh and dish was pretty tasty. However, taste of scallops weren't exactly very pronounced and probably tasted more like fish paste.... Nevertheless, would recommend giving this a try still!
Had to order this highly raved hassel back potato ($8++/piece). It's alot smaller than expected, but it's topped with many premium ingredients such as ikura and unagi. Potato was crispy but was cold when served. Would have been excellent if it was served hot.
A play on french & asian fusion and I don't know what to think about it. Duck confit ($19.90++) was tender and flavourful. Kway tiao seems somewhat out of place though. Would say that the starters here definitely outshine the mains.
Was initially hesitatant to order expensive cabbage ($16.90++), but boy was I pleasantly surprised. The dish was so good! Cabbage was soft (not mushy) and goes very well with beurre blanc. Will definitely eat my vegs if they are all served this way.
Al dente pasta served with crabmeat, chorizo, caviar, confit lemon in lobster sauce. Ingredients came together well and got me wanting more with each bite. Absolutely yummy and highly recommended! Available in two sizes: starter ($16.90++) or main ($23.90++)
Ordered the mentaiko chitarra pasta ($20++) instantly regretted my decision when the dish was served. Mentaiko had a strong fishy smell which made it very unpleasant. There was suppose to be a hint of plum but it was not present. The al dente pasta was only the saving grace. Nevertheless, it would probably be delicious to mentaiko lovers.
Got the famed burrata pizza ($26++) and it certainly didn't disappoint. Pizza dough was light and on-point. Burrata was creamy yet not overly milky. Will certainly be back again.
Tomato broth is excellent and seabass is fresh. A well balanced dish with carbs, protein and veggie in a bowl. Overall a very comforting dish to have on a rainy day!
One of my go to cafes (tho location is not the most convenient). Love the pommery pork chop - meat is tender, mashed potato creamy, apple cinnamony and cabbage is tangy. Overall tastes very festive and will definitely order again!
Had the korubuta sausage for starters and peruvian fish stew & mexican chicken rice for mains. Both mains were $24++
Food was pretty yummy but taste buds were numbed from the spicy sauces (go easy on 'em).
Overall pretty good meal and would return with 1-4-1.
Ordered the duck leg confit on two separate occasion - first time was perfect but the second time duck was a little tough. However, overall experience was still pleasant and will return again 👌🏻
