Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant @singaporemarriott unveils NEW a la carte menu featuring elevated Cantonese Classics

Highlight include the *NEW* Roasted Spanish Suckling Pig wrapped with Wok-fried Glutinous Rice and Chinese Sausage ($508++) Roasted to perfection, crunchy, crackling skin stuff with moist & flavourful glutinous rice.

The Butter Sauce Prawn 湿奶油虾 is fried till crispy, drizzled with creamy butter sauce. Great place around Clementi / West Coast area for Vegetarian food.

Back by popular demand, the Sri Lankan Crab Menu at Wan Hao Chinese Restaurant feature 11 dishes ranging from an exquisite selection of dim sums and a la carte specialties available from 1 Sept to 31 Oct 2022.

One of my fav is the Braised Bird’s Nest with Crab Claw & Watercress Superior Stock ($68++ per person) Refreshingly light watercress broth served with generous amount bird nest and delicately sweet Crab Claw.

生拆蟹皇捞官燕配金华火腿 ($88.00++ per person). A trinity of superior bird’s nest, fresh crab roe and jellyfish served with a bowl of piping-hot broth permeated with the savoury nuances of quality Jinhua ham. You are encouraged to enjoy mouthfuls of the bird’s nest between sips of soup.

XO Sauce and Crispy Pork Lardon served with Crackling Pork Belly 酱脆皮烧肉猪油渣捞面卜 ($28.00++). Each mee pok strand is cloaked in a piquant homemade XO sauce with thick cuts of juicy pork belly and golden-brown deep-fried lardon.

Quite interesting combination adding the crispy rice for a dual textures, serves with fresh lobster.

Since opening their first outlet in Singapore Aug 2021 at Jewel Changi Airport, TAI ER 太二酸菜鱼 @taiersingapore, the popular Chinese restaurant fully booked till now. I was lucky to secure a table at TAI ER for lunch gathering with friends recently.

Aside from ordering their signature dishes such as Suancai & Fish, Fried Crispy Prawn topped with Mustard, Abalone & Shrimp in Spicy Sauce, Seaweed Roll with Salted Egg Yolk, Egg Coated Glutinous Rice Rolls with Brown Sugar, Sichuan pepper milk tea, Ice Jelly with Fruits & Coconut milk, something caught our eye is the NEW Spicy Cereal Prawn. The Cereal prawn is deep fried till it is crispy and you can eat it with the shell, it tastes like fireworks exploding in your mouth! So shiok.

I heard that they are opening their second outlet at JEM soon! This is good news for me and especially those who stayed in the west! I was also told that you are no longer required to make a booking a week in advance, TAI ER is accepting walk-ins now!
