Spots With Friends

Was out with a friend to have a chill dinner by the Singapore river and we really enjoyed ourselves with the cozy atmosphere and also great service from the friendly and helpful staff. The food was amazing and I definitely recommend the jamon truffle croquettes, i loved it so much, it wasn't too creamy or strong in flavour and it was just the right amount of crispy on the outside but on the inside everything just melts in your mouth.

The mix of 3 spreads was definitely worth it, especially if sharing with a friend, the portion was just right for us and was a good mix of flavours. I also ordered the cavajito which was my first time having cava, and as a cocktail I greatly enjoyed it with my meal, it was refreshing and I'd definitely want to try cava on its own in the future!

Really enjoyed the food here at chir chir! Was out with a friend and we tried the Sour Cream & Onion Chicken and it was easily one of the best fried chicken I've tasted. The pairing of the creamy powder with the onion was sweet and savoury and even came with a sour cream on the side that you can pour over or dip in. The portion size for the chicken was quite a lot for the two of us, so I would definitely come back with more friends especially to try more of the other flavours! The service was very friendly and helpful too :) Overall, a great experience!

I really enjoyed the food here and the highlight for me would be the pork rib stew (single sharing) and rice balls to share with a friend which really fun since we got to mix and shape the rice balls too. Everything was very flavourful so I really appreciated that the side dishes were free flow to cut the grease. The service was also prompt and helpful. Overall, a good dining experience :)

Really great food and ambience here! Had the Aburi Shimesaba and Gyu Ponzu which were perfectly seasoned and paired with the sweet sake. It was really smooth and easy to drink for someone not too good with stronger alcohol, I really enjoyed it :) We also ordered the Agedashi tofu and hot soba which went really well to balance the other dishes. Really appreciated the prompt and helpful service, will definitely recommend for a cozy night out with friends!

Shared a couple of dishes with a friend, had a difficult time choosing as the items on the menu sounded really good. We decided on the garlic and white wine mussels, tortilla set and the meanest pork ribs in town with hickory sauce. The ribs, of course was a must-try and I would recommend the try too, it was soft and has a nice smokiness to it, however it was a little tad on the dry side. The sauce was slightly tangy and sweet, just right for a hickory bbq sauce.

The tortilla set was a great choice for sharing and the portions were generous so I felt that it was really worth the price. The service staff was very helpful and attentive as well.

On top of that, the atmosphere was nice and cozy, truly a great spot to meet and chill with friends!
