Very friendly and welcoming staff. Pistachio was creamy in texture and had the right balance in flavour. Croffle was freshly made and had a butterly taste. I had previously tried their waffle which was equally as good, the croffle is great alternative if you are dropping by after a heavy meal :)
The baked potatoes were addictive. Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. My friend who doesn’t like potatoes usually actually enjoys it! The chicken was moist and the sauce savoury. Overall, the dish was great but may not be worth the full price.
Salmon risotto was really tasty, with a surprising nutty taste, but could do with more meat and less carbs.
The dish is very tasty with a mix of different flavours, different textures and a very generous amount of toppings. Loved the idea of being able to customise the bowl to my own liking.
It's my third time here, and will definitely come back often.
With 1-for-1 Burpple Beyond, managed to try the Supermodel and Kung-Fu Master in medium ($9.80) with Jasmine and Pu-er tea ($3.20). The place is generally more suitable for smaller eaters on those on diet, but I still left feeling full and more importantly, guilt free. The fruits tasted very fresh and I like how the Kung-Fu master is on the sweeter side. The acai smoothie complements the variety of fruits well for both bowls.
The ice cream is very creamy and flavour is well-balanced without being overpowering. I personally prefer the molten lava to be more melty and fudge-like.
But overall good deal with Burrple Beyond. Had a little miscom with staff on the order details but could be due to new hire so I don't hold against the person. Either way, it is still very good ice cream that leaves you wanting more.
Generous portions with homey neighbour ambience! Very close to the famous blk 85 hawker center, this is an ideal spot to catch up with old friends if you are in the east. Service is very fast and staff are friendly.
The 1-for-1 Burrple deal is super worth it. Both dishes Lu Rou Fan ($8.50) and Claypot Curry Chicken ($8.50) are filling and authentic. Sauce on the Lu Rou Fan is the star for me. Also ordered the Matcha and Hojicha Latte ($4.30 each) from their Specialty Tea Set.
