This was naan other than mind blowing - the fluffiness and the greasiness of the flatbread paired so well with the thick gravy of the butter chicken. This classic combination of butter chicken and naan really is to die for, but I guess it’s relatively inaccessible location in Sentosa may not give Royal Taj the recognition it deserves.

Actually a really delicious bowl of butter chicken. There was a nice thick enough consistency to the gravy which paired wonderfully with the naan. You can really taste the creaminess and nuttiness in the sauce, and what set it apart was actually how spicy it was, compared to most of the butter chicken dishes I’ve tried. Considering the location and ambience, I thought this dish was pretty worth it, considering the portion of chicken breast inside.

Vindaloo was so rich, so aromatic, and on top of it all so spicy. You get to choose level 1-10 for your spiciness, and 8 is already unimaginably unbearable. But that’s what makes it so delicious, especially with the tender chicken meat paired together with a greasy, fluffy, butter naan.

This was pricey, but worth every dime if you believe it’s worth a try. Huge tiger prawns stuffed with crab meat and rubbed with house spices. Served on a sizzling hot platter. The aroma, and the power every bite holds was just amazing. But as mentioned, it does burn a hole in your packet for a side dish.

Pretty average dum briyani but good enough to satisfy any briyani cravings you might have. Basmati rice was fragrant, and while portion was huge, the chicken was a tad bit dry. Really enjoyed the raita which was very light and refreshing.

Teh tarik was decent. Not too sweet as requested, though it seemed to have compromised on the creaminess of it.

Prata here was pretty average, nothing mind blowing. It’s on the softer side, but with a bit of crispiness on the sides. The fish curry was of a medium to thick consistency and had a good amount of spicy kick. It went well with the Prata.

Managed to snag a good briyani deal with Burpple Beyond from Yasha Briyani. Yasha Briyani occupies a small unit at the retail area of the Midtown Residences, where seating area is extremely limited. I’d highly recommend to takeaway your meals! The Briyani itself was so aromatic, and the basmati rice was fragrant. The curry had a wonderful texture, a medium consistency of not too thick nor not too thin. Went for the boneless chicken which came in chicken chunks, it did seem a bit dry, but I guess that would have been expected. Overall, I thought the Briyani was very decent, and I think all the elements came together pretty well. The curry could have done with a bit more oomph flavour, but it was decently good and spicy enough!

Better than average chicken briyani. Rice was fragrant and flavourful in itself, and the curry was rich and aromatic. I went this because I saw a number of eating it, and it looks too good. It was not difficult to find the stall, because during lunch time there was a queue. But fret not, because service seems to be pretty efficient. A popular choice people seem to go for us the Crispy Chicken Briyani, which comes with a piece of fried chicken and curry on the side. Though I didn’t go for that option, I was satisfied with mine. The chicken breast was huge, though inevitably dry. But the overall taste of the rice and curry attested to the quality of this plate of affordable priced briyani. And if anybody can enlighten me on what those spicy bits are at the side, please do, for it made this plate so much enjoyable! I loved how it gave a crunch with every bite of my meal.

Absolutely amazing chicken biryani! Chicken was tender, free flow curry was super spicy and flavourful. Super worth it. Delicious food, decently priced, and great ambience. I’ll keep coming back here again for this!

Super spicy and tasty prawns! Cooked with onions and dry chilli and supposedly a popular dish in Chettinadu. I liked it a lot but this is a dry dish, so you can’t dip your naans in it! I ate it with rice. Would love to try a curried prawn dish from here some day😊

Tender chicken and fish tikka, huge tiger prawns and paneer tikka. You get to try a variety of meats with this platter albeit pricey. So if you do have a decisive choice on what kind of tikka you want, it would be better just going for that!
