This came hot and crispy and as always, fries go so so well with mentaiko sauce.
Japanese grain, pan-seared beef striploin, onsen egg, mushrooms, edamame, soybeans, miso goma sauce | I found this lacking in flavour and seasoning. | $19
This was warm, comforting and deliciously sweet. Do not expect strong gingerbread notes if you are looking to order this. | $6.50
Shio kombu, chilli oil, brandy, ikura, capellini | $18
This was extremely tasty, especially with the chilli oil that elevated the dish.
I think this was supposed to have an aglio olio base and it definitely had a copious amount of garlic and olive oil. The spaghetti was cooked al dente too. Wished there was some spice to give the dish some depth though. The sautéed brown butter prawns were way too salty too. | $15.50

Best cream puff I’ve ever had. Nuff said. | $5
Served with torched mentaiko sauce and tobiko. Crispy fries with creamy mentaiko and popping tobiko - yums! | $15

Deep-fried mantou filled with slow braised black pork belly with greens, served with sweet potato fries. The pork was on the tougher/leaner side. Can’t go wrong with deep fried mantou and sweet potato fries! There was also a hint of truffle. | $17

The candid pork bacon was the bomb! | $22
Buttermilk fried chicken, cornmeal pancake, sunny-side up, maple syrup. This was pretty average. The cornmeal pancake crumbled pretty easily and I would have preferred if it was sturdier. | $16.50
