tried this raved place with their special 🔥burnt🔥 cones and it burnt a hole in my wallet too 😢😢 for their ice creams, they were smooth, but otherwise nothing much to shout about. the 85% dark chocolate was pretty dark and bitter which was gr8 for a chocolate lover like me. the pistachio was nice, but i would prefer it to be a bit nuttier bc i’m a more 重口味 kind of person. the burnt cones were…FRAGILE it kept breaking while i ate HAHA. didn’t rly have any special flavour also hahah so guys pls educate me on the hype abt this place hahah. sorry man i think it’s ovepriced 😩

fam was craving some ice cream so here we are ❣️❣️ i decided to try a intEresting flavour so i got 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐲 & 𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 and it was 💯💯 the alcohol flavour wasn’t super strong but everything went well tgt. i also took scoops of 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞 𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 and i loved that it wasn’t v sweet and sooo creamy!! the 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 also was exactly what i wanted - super dark and not the sweet kind. lastly, i took 1 scoop of 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐤𝐞 to try and it was v creamy and retained the taste of a cheesecake well. never tasted anything like this! 👍 ok honestly all the ice cream flavours we tried blew my mind - i can’t choose a fav flavour bc they were all seriously SO GOOD!!! 🤯🤯 (side note: i did not eat the waffle bc i was too full)

finally being able to go out for spontaneous ice cream supper with the fam after PH2A 🙌 found this newly opened cafe on burpple and decided to give it a try. overall, the waffles were not bad - crispy on the outside and flavourful on the inside. i personally found the ice cream a bit too sweet for me, and like what others have said i think the flavours could be brought out more! price wise: we paid $15.40 for 2 double scooped ice cream + waffle combis (after 1-1). anw i liked that the cafe wasn’t crowded so it’s still a great chill spot 🙂

i’m a chocolate lover and ice cream lover so was expecting myself to love this place and…….YES I DID. we used the burpple deal for the ice bar - i got the 𝟖𝟖% 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟗.𝟓𝟎++) and my mom got 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐨 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟗.𝟓𝟎++). the ice cream bar is sorta like a sundae but omg the ice cream stole the show. i love insanely dark chocolate ice cream and the 82% very dark chocolate ice cream was just 😍😍 was real good guys especially if you’re a chocolate lover. i personally prefer the ice cream by itself (idk if they have that option), but if i were to choose from the above 2 ice bar options, i would go for the affogato one - the coffee was really bitter fyi but paired well with the ice cream. it gave an intense atas feel to each bite 🤩 the staff were also really friendly, recommending us the ice cream flavour to be paired with our ice bar choice :-)

A small ice cream parlour to satisfy that late night craving🍦 Given the small size of the shop, flavours are also a tad limited compared to other ice cream shops, but quality is 👍. My favourite flavours would be the 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐲 and 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥’𝐬 𝐤𝐨𝐩𝐢 💐☕️ (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟒.𝟗𝟎 𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡) The earl grey esp wasn’t too strong on the tea taste and had a pleasant uniqueness. However, the outsides of the waffles weren’t as crispy as we had hoped for them to be. Personal taste though! Also, the vibes here is 😍 Chill & cozy with fairy lights.

Right after our dinner at the Bedok Market place, we popped by this ice cream cafe to end off our day with some sweetness🍦It was a pretty small place but they do have gOod ice cream. My favourite would be the pictured 𝐇𝐚𝐳𝐞𝐥𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟒.𝟐𝟎) as the flavours just come together so nicely 🥺 I also liked the 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐮𝐦 𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐨 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟓) as it wasn’t too sweet and had a real nutty taste to it. Definitely coming back, especially with the burpple 1-1 🤘

A low key but very impressive dessert place with the diversity of Taiwanese desserts they have 🤤 It’s like a cheaper black ball to me, and with the 1-1, it’s SO WORTH. I got the 𝐓𝐚𝐫𝐨 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐣𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐧 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟑.𝟖𝟎) which tastes pretty standard and definitely satisfies that Taiwanese dessert craving. However, I would like to give the other desserts a try because I’ve heard their 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐤 𝐩𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟑.𝟔𝟎) is somewhat heavenly 🤩

One of the best chendol in SG? Yes agreed. The gula melaka in this 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐥 (~𝐒𝐆𝐃𝟐) was rly thiiccc - aka what’s needed in a 💯 chendol. So be warned: those who have lighter palates might not like this as much. For me though, I would also have liked it to be less icy. But other than that, definitely give this place a try. Even if you’re not coming here for Chendol, they are good for everything else I think bc I persistently see a queue at the shop.

Hojicha petit gateu (~SGD8.80): Finally got to try Hvala 🤤 Have heard that they have quality matcha and hojicha, & I was proven right. This cake was sooooo thicc, creamy with a nice amount of bitterness that showcases the premium hojicha used. Definitely not for the faint hearted as it’s pretty strong!

Matcha hojicha latte ice blend (~SGD 6): A very interesting but superb take on the classic matcha latte. I would say it’s sweeter than the cake, but overall a good drink to satisfy your matcha/hojicha craving. Overall, I think Hvala is worth the hype & will definitely be back 😊
