Boba-ventures
Avocado Momo Drink ($7.80) - A blend of avocado, milk, ice and topped with coconut milk, mangoes, sago and grapefruit pulp. Sweetness was mild and just nice, didnāt felt like there was much added sugar. Drink was also sealed into a can on the spot, so if youāre doing a takeaway no worries on spillage.
Their Ceylon Milk Tea ($5.20) was amazing! Consist of Ceylon tea, milk and lotus biscuit topped with whipped cream. No photos but the aroma of the tea was strong and fragrant with the right balance of milk and tea. Tasted so good and smooth! Iāve forgotten to ask for less sweet so it was 100% but it was not overwhelming.
Strawberry Momo Drink ($8.50) - fresh strawberries, milk, ice topped with coconut milk, mangoes, sago and grapefruit was delicious as well. Best consumed within the hour as the coconut milk can get a little jelak when it is no longer cold.
Overall good experience, but prices are on the higher side. Staff were also friendly and drinks were freshly prepared.
Here we have the green tea sugar cane ($5.90) and honey osmantus tea ($6.50). Both drinks were refreshing and thirst quenching. I do find these drinks a little expensive without Burpple 1-for-1 as they do not come with any toppings too. On a separate occasion, Iāve also tried their Brown Sugar Fresh Milk who I find reasonably priced and nice.
We were greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic staff, who was patient in giving recommendations on drinks down to the sugar level and ice level, toppings of each drink. That was a real plus point. Also there are limited seats around the shop, so itāll be one of my go-to places if needing a quick rest from shopping. š
The hype of Dalgona has hit Xing Fu Tang! Get their limited edition Rose Dalgona at $0.55 with any order of Dalgona Series till 16 August 2020.
Xin Fu Tang is known for its brown sugar pearls, so we went for the Brown Sugar Pearls Dalgona Coffee with Milk ($5.90). Whipped to a creamy coffee foam, the bittersweet coffee blended well with the brown sugar pearls and fresh milk. It was however, too sweet for my liking. The first few sips were fine and the flavor was full bodied. But as I mixed the drink more evenly, my palate started rejecting its sweetness and despite waiting for the ice to melt, it was still too sweet. In the end I added more milk and water to dilute it out. Not for me, but definitely would satisfy a sweet tooth who also loves coffee!
The Rose Dalgona ($0.55) on the other hand was much more refreshing. Lovely colors on the Rose Dalgona with a smooth pink rose cream and fresh milk. We added on pink pearls ($1), which were super chewy. The drink itself was a nice twist to our typical Bandung, worth a try!
