To all the yams lover out there, this tart was so yummy!!! The yam filling was smooth and wasn’t too sweet. The ginkgo nut helped add a new texture. The tart was buttery and will melt in your mouth.

The price of the tart is at $1.20.

This place sells super cheap and affordable cheese tart at only $1.20 each! The cheese filling was just right for me, not too weak nor strong. The filling seats on top of a buttery crust that melts in your mouth.

Overall at $1.20, this tart was so affordable!

Sauce has a balanced taste of miso and goma. Quite generous with the beef portion. Beef felt it a little too rare. However it still tasted good together with the rice!

Ate the 250g ribeye steak with Cafe de Paris as my sauce option together with mac & cheese and buttered broccoli.

There is a ongoing promotion for takeaway now hence this meal for 2pax cost about $28 (including GST).

250g doesn’t sound much but was really full at the end of the meal and wasn’t able to finish the sides as well!! Opted for the steak to cook to medium rare and they did it perfectly. The steak was juicy and not tough at all. In fact we had to chew off the meat since it was sliced. Really loved the mac & cheese despite it looking so simple. There was a pronounced cheese taste to it and it was creamy as well. Was a little disappointed with the buttered broccoli as it seemed to be boiled broccoli with some butter liquid. It still taste nice but expected a little more.

Overall, the deal was very worth it since it works out to be $14 each. Would recommend it!!

Pretty good nasi lemak. Love it that they used basmati rice instead of short grain rice. Chicken wing is really crispy and tender too. Chilli sauce packs a punch but leans towards the sweet side. However, it is abit pricey compared to other nasi lemaks. 😜

Rather expensive place to dine at. Required to wait a long time for all the mains to be served together.

Recommend to order the ribs, fish and the cheeseburger. Would highly recommend the ribs as it was very tender and the sauce complimented the ribs well.

Give the chicken a miss because the chicken was dry and didn’t like the crust formed from the pan frying.

Please be prepared for a constant crowd if you pop by in the afternoon. A place where they roast their own coffee, it is a pretty popular and crowded coffee joint given that it is located under a hdb at outram. Coffee tasted great with a choice of your coffee beans. Do take note that theres no food served here. :)

The homemade mushroom soup is really true to its reviews. Its really thick and creamy with loads of mushrooms. Doesnt make you feel gelard too! The garlic rice was very fragrant and delicious. Chicken is crispy and tender. Portion was also right. It also comes with an egg. Topped up for vegetable too. Another plus point is that you can enjoy coffee from Nylon just next door! :)

Second time here and they just started a new menu this month! Bah kut teh is still as delicious with three different levels of peppery spiciness! When they refill the soup, they also make it a point to check which level of spiciness we had ordered to refill the right soup. Their side dishes are also good! Tried the seafood tofu, kong ba pau, meat ball, vegetable, oyster omelette. You tiao is also a must order! Really crispy and fresh!

This is at Omakase Burger (Express) at Toa Payoh Lor 8. Pretty long wait (1hr from queueing to getting food) probably cause of the rave about it on the Internet. Thankfully it was worth the wait, beef patty was really juicy and the burger was also soft and fluffy. Garlic fries was also not too bad. Crispy with a slight hint of garlic. :)
