Hidden gem in sengkang. Green curry ($6) was rich and packed with flavour. The garlic pork ($8) is great too as they spam the garlic.
Get the stuffed chicken wings! Felt like i was eating a ngoh hiang, but with deep fried chicken (not beancurd) skin.
The egg also had a very nice wok hey.
Avoid the tofu soup though. The tofu texture tasted a bit mushy in the centre.
Each bite into the wings were full of crunch thanks to the light crispy batter. Yet i never found myself reaching for any paper towels since the wings werent drenched in oil either.
But the wings could have done with a bit more seasoning. Not that it was a problem thanks to the sweet chilli sauce.
Loved that the pork had the right amount of fat and lean meat without making too dry. Flavour was good enough that you won't even need the dipping sauce!
Nice hot bowl of noodles, best pick me up snack especially for chilly weather.
Soup had a sour kick, and came with a few slices of beef.
Excellent value, 4 pax at 30 dollars. Most meats are about 2 to 3 dollars. Meat was well flavoured too, didnt even need use the chili sauce.
Soup used was corn soup instead of chicken stock, so there was a sweetness to it.
One of the best value for money thai food places. You can get a whole sea bass for 12.90.
My parents like the fish with lemon sauce because of the tangy taste. But i prefer the one done with tomyam coconut milk.
Make a reservation because they place can get quite crowded on weekends.
